The Novatek hydropowered water jetting gun is used for: • Cleaning blasted rock from production faces. • On steep dips, it can be used without a face scraper. • If used with a scraper, it greatly reduces overall cleaning time. • General cleaning where the powerful jet can be used without danger to persons or equipment, eg. Under conveyors. • To assist with barring down and scaling. Note that it does not replace barring down tools. The Novatek jetting guns use hydropower water as the motive fluid; a powerful and concentrated jet causes a high impact force on the target and the water flow also assists in moving rocks and particles by partially fluidizing them. Note that the water used is not recirculated; pump and water reticulation design should cater for this. Features: • Nozzles are made of tungsten carbide for a long wear life. The nozzle size may be changed in the workshop to suit the operating pressure and required flowrate. • The trigger includes a safety catch to prevent accidental operation. • Adjustable handle position. • This also serves as a footrest /guide for seated operation. • Additional guard may be added to handle for seated operation. • Chest plate may be supplied as an optional extra. • Low trigger force and progressive trigger action for excellent controllability
